I am going to complete 10 years’ of service on 21/07/12. kindly reply,– whether only M.C resolution or D.I of school’s order or both is required to avail of this benefit. With thanks in advance.

As per G.O. No. 181-SE dated 08.10.2009, approval of D.I. is to taken while awarding benefit of 18 years continuous service. But for awarding 10/20 years benefit the said requirement is not mentioned. And just pay is fixed with one additional increment.

Dear nemo,
I was known to it. But now some of my friends tell that their respective ADI/DI office advice them to receive it (ADI/DI’s approval ). My school is awarding it to me by taking just M.C resolution in this matter. What should I do now?

As per circular you don’t need any D.I. approval.
non teaching staff needs it on completion of 18 yrs.

Dear Mam,
I think not only non-teaching staff but also teachers who are in pass graduate scale(i.e up to pay band 3) and / who are eligible to avail of 18 years’ benefit( where grade pay changes) are required to get D/I’s approval.

Hi friend thax for your reply,
right u r, i’v avoided details,sorry for that.Teaching nd non-teaching staff who r in up to pay band-3 will get 18yrs benefit nd grade pay change,in those case D.I. approval is must for them but it is not necessary in 10/20 yrs benefit.
Now how many marks will i get for this ans. friend?
