Have you gone through the G.O. bearing no. 456(14)-Edn(U) before posting???????????? However, in service teachers are exempted in respect of the 50% criteria.June 9, 2012 at 9:14 pm #72821AnonymousInactiveThe interpretation and subsequently the application of the new G.O. [456(14)-Edn(U)/1U-23/12 dated 11.05.12] has raised many questions. This particular G. O. is for making provisions for doing 17000 untrained teachers working in upper pry/secondary schools in West Bengal within 31.03.2015. This huge number of untrained teachers can only be trained through ODL mode. And at resent NO university in West Bengal offers B.Ed. course in ODL mode ! So, before implementing this G.O., it is necessary to make arrangements to start B.Ed. course in ODL mode. In this G.O. nothing has been said regarding the previous G.O.s related to deputation of in-service teachers for doing B.Ed. in regular mode. Does it mean that the previous G.O.s are no longer in effect ? Different universities in West Bengal have permitted deputed teachers to be admitted in regular B.Ed. course in 2012-2013 session. But North Bengal University denied to issue application forms for regular B.Ed. course to deputed teachers in the same 2012-2013 session ! This disparity is completely unacceptable. The matter was brought into notice of the Hon’ble Education Minister. We have come to know that a new G.O. has been issued. Can any friend on this forum publish this new G.O. This will be a great help for teachers of North Bengal, like me.

1) Previous G.Os are superseded
2) No new G.O. has been issued by Higher Education Dept in this regard till date.
3) Some universities (better to say colleges) issued admissions forms for regular mode to deputed teachers because of late receipt of the concerned G.O. Hope they will not proceed it further.
4) If you go through the attachment of the G.O. you would see the G.O. was issued on the request of the Principal Secretary, School Edn Dept . Thus it may be assumed School Edn Dept may not sanction study leave for 1 year in favour of deputed teachers. If it happens so deputed teachers would have no other option except availing of extra ordinary leave resulting pay cut. This part should be kept in mind

June 30, 2012 at 10:46 am #72996AnonymousInactiveSorry i could not go through the bengali write up. The G.O. has been framed only a couple of days ago. I will try to upload the G.O. at the earliest.
June 30, 2012 at 11:53 am #73000AnonymousInactivei recently came to know about the new G.O. of the Higher Education Dept regarding B.Ed. of Deputed Teachers.
can anybody upload a copy of the G.O. No. 643(14)-Edn(U)/10M-205/2012 dated 28.06.2012 ?
its urgently needed…..June 30, 2012 at 1:47 pm #72997AnonymousInactive@digitaldoc: sorry. it is actually a news at the Anandabazar Patrika. It reports that B.Ed training will be done by the teachers like the previous year as there is no approved B.Ed course through ODL mode offered by the universities of Bengal. However the upload of the recent orders in this regard will end the confusions. Thanks!
