Sorry friend I’m not able to be with the forum now-a-days for technical reason. But a very sad news force me to share my feelings in a alternative way at this forum.Few days ago a senior HM of a pry school was taken to PS as police got a complaint from the BDO that the teacher assaulted him.The HM went to him to say that he is getting rice for MDM though he has already applied to stop that for one/two month. His school has adequate rice and it’s getting damaged.HM might have been a little rude but…! ALAS!!

April 22, 2012 at 3:05 pm #72153AnonymousInactive@ b_roy: Can you please share some more details of the unfortunate incident. Atleast share the name of the Block and PS. People in general should keep safe distance from these officials who are supposed to do ‘Public Service’ but indulging themselves in these kind of arrogant behavior!!

I want to share with you . It is very sad news to me though Mid Day Meal problems is a common problem to all the Head teachers or Head Masters. It should be transfered to a separate organisation very soon. otherwise we are compelled to give more attention to MDM than to teaching. Actually Mid Day Meal is the biggest problem to our teachers .April 26, 2012 at 9:17 am #72192AnonymousInactive@Kayshikr: The name of the block(as well as PS) is BARJORA in BANKURA district.
In further development all the school stopped MDM demanding apology from the BDO.However they resume MDM soon for the little children.GREAT! @SOM & WBXPRESS:Thanks friends for your love for me.I’m trying hard to solve my problems and some positive result soon.
@A.B.PAL:Thanks! I can remember you introduced a well-thought topic on MDM problems.
@ALL:Do you think gradually teachers become victim of unworthy policy/policy-maker?April 26, 2012 at 2:13 pm #72193AnonymousInactiveThanks for sharing. Discontinuation of MDM is not the solution. You have rightly resumed the MDM for the sake of little children. They are not at fault for whatsoever reason and should not be punished. But about the highhandedness of the BDO and the likes something should be done. Did you approach the DM/ SDO regarding this incident? What were their action/reaction? Let us know. We shall learn from this experience and be prepared to tackle same kind of situation coming towards us in near future.
