I got PhD on 11 March, 2008. Am I eligible to get additional two increament as per latest G.O. Also please mention the procedure that I follow. thanks and regards.
News form different media says that recently (in March & April 2013) some important judgements were given by the Hon’ble high court of Kolkata about the additional increments for PhD (convocation date after 2005).
Can any one provide the Case Numbers of those petitions?
In earlier times I also beleived in your line of thinking. But recently on 17.05.2013 the honourable high court as given a land mark judgement. Mr. Mehbub Isha of murshidabad appealed to D.I. for his P.Hd incremental benefit giving reference to the order of the high court in which it has out ruled the applicabililty of controll of expenditure act 2005 which has been re-confirmed by educatiob deptt. in January 2012. Inspite of this D.I. dare to reject his appeal. Seeing this act of the D.I. the Honourable high fined him a sum of Rs.5000.00 which will be deducted from his salary. You can see the order of the court also. W.P. no. 13606W, 2013 date of judgement is 17.05.2013.
The order passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Kolkata in Writ Petition No. WP 4537(W) of 2012 dated 25.06.2012 whereby direction was issued to the concerned Addl. DI of School to consider the grant of increments to an Asst. Teacher who joined the school in Oct.,2007 after completion of Ph.D. course in January,2007 and, was awarded the degree at convocation held in March,2008. Then, kindly allow me to know why Dr Sarasi Das cannot get the desired benefit of two increments.
i joined as assistant teacher to the govt. addied school throgh ssc.may i got any incremment for mphil degree like phd holder according to latest cercculation?
i have submit ed my thesis on sept.2013 in B.U. I was registered in it on may.2004 and re registered on2009. Please advice me what can I do after convocation .I will await your advice.
Numbers of judgements were given by Hon’ble Kolkata High court on allowing 2 additional increments for PhD (convocation after 2005) last year. My question is “Did any of those petitioners/ teachers actually get the benefit till now after the judgments?
And secondly, is there any news about Govt’s thought on issuing any G.O. to allow benefits to those also who have done PhD after 2005 ?
