Affixing and Prefixing after Medical Leave in Higher Secondary School

I am a school teacher. If I take 10 days medical leave & after the last day of leave there is a holiday. How many days will be deducted? 10 days or 11 days?

According to your Medical Certificate, say, you have taken M.L. from 2/5/15 to 11/05/15, and 12/05/15 was a holiday. If you you join your duty on 13/05/15, then your M.L. will be deducted for 10 days. But if you join on 14/05/15, then, ML will be 10 days, HPL will be for 1 Day (for 13/05/15)
