Upward revision of passenger fare for various classes of accommodation in respect of vessels plying in mainland-island sector.
The Government servants proceeding to mainland on tour/LTC including Annual Free Sea Passage etc. shall continue to pay the fare applicable to non-islanders. However, the Government servants proceeding to mainland at their own cost on leave etc. shall be treated at par with the islanders for payment of ship fare.
The revised fares for the year 2012-2013 shall come into force with immediate effect while the revised faxes for the year 2013-2014 shall take effect from 01.04.2013.
