Sometimes we need the Excel Based and Handy Software for preparation of various accounts calculation. It seems that after implementation of ROPA 09 we are facing the problem for calculation of arrears which become due after any PROMOTION or grant of C A S benefits.
COSA is the latest software published by the W.B.Govt for preparation of salary and, it should be mandatorily installed. It appears that it does not give any scope of arrear computation.
As per the new pay commission, W.B.Govt employees are eligible for getting benefits under Promotional schemes, CAS. It sometimes happens that an employee is promoted to higher post in the middle of a month. Hence it is necessary to calculate the arrears on pro rata basis in such cases. This Excel Utility can aid to the pro rata basis calculation ( Automatic).
