My date of month for joining into W.B.Govt. Service under I&W Directorate is September. My present increment month is JULY. If I get functional promotion to the post of Supervisory Grade Steno-Typist from the post of Gr. I Steno-Typist with effect from the month of September. How should I opt for my promotion? Is it wise to get promotion from the month of September after getting annual increment to get financial benefit? Or………… …. any other method?
i) The functional promotion order which will be effected from 01/04/2013 for the post of Supervisory Grade Steno-Typist from the post of Gr.I steno-typist of my colleague has come. The date of retirement of my colleague is 31/08/2013. Please offer your valued suggestions as to how & by which month should my colleague opt for the promotion.
