Can the teachers appointed for H.S. Section apply for B.Ed through O.D.L mode?
If not, can they apply for B.Ed course in regular mode as a deputed candidate in the next session 2014-15?
I have heard that this session (2013-14) is going to be the last session for pursuing B.Ed course in regular mode as a deputed candidate.. Can you please inform me about this?
Is there any other way to pursue B.Ed course within 2015?July 10, 2013 at 3:05 pm #78256AnonymousInactiveDon’t be afraid. It is true that according to the latest circular of Commissioner of school education, no teacher of HS section will be elligible to pursue B.Ed through ODL. But they can pursue B.Ed as regular deputation mode. You can easily do that in the next year. But the candidates who belong to Upper Primary section shall not be able to pursue B.Ed in regular mode from the next session.
July 11, 2013 at 6:27 am #78263AnonymousInactiveThank you for assuring me..
Most of the untrained teachers are going to pursue B.Ed degree through ODL mode, excepting the teachers of HS section.
Will there be reservation in the B.Ed colleges for the remaining untrained teachers of HS section in the next session? The question arises because the total number of untrained teachers of HS section is very very less.
Is there any information regarding this fact? Please let me know.
Thanking you again.July 11, 2013 at 2:08 pm #78268AnonymousInactiveDear Mr. Satyabrata,
yours is truly of a great anxiety!! Now,I want to ask something more.
If a H.S section teacher undergo B.Ed in regular mode(deputation) next year i.e. 2014-2015 session, certainly his/her course will not be completed within the 31st March,2015.But as we all know that all untrained teachers have to complete B.Ed degree within the said timeline, what will be the case?!
Rumors are there, W.B govt can extend the increment up to 2014(or 2015??!!, I don’t know). In that case, the H.S section teacher will lose an increment. If no extension order is there, then also he/she will suffer from an extra increment loss comparing with the NORMAL section teachers who will be undergoing B.Ed from N.S.O.U this year.
RegardsJuly 12, 2013 at 4:59 pm #78278AnonymousInactive@satyabrata contact with your DI. The DI office, Nadia also preparing a list of untrained teachers for h s section.
July 12, 2013 at 6:51 pm #78279AnonymousInactiveAll the teachers belong to upper primary section must complete B.Ed or its equivalent degree within 31st March 2015(except work education and phy edu teacher). So why got panicked? HS section’s teachers do not come under RTE Act 2009(clause 23). But a probability of increment loss is a matter of grave concern. Let us hope for some good news.
July 13, 2013 at 9:51 am #78289AnonymousInactiveDear Prasenjit da,
I asked DI of Murshidabad about this.. He replied that no teacher of HS section can apply for ODL.. Following his instruction, all the AI Officers have taken the fresh list of untrained teachers clearly mentioning the section of appointment of the teacher from Headmasters. So, there is no such good news for us till now. lets wait.July 13, 2013 at 10:05 am #78290AnonymousInactiveAll the teachers belong to upper primary section must complete B.Ed or its equivalent degree within 31st March 2015….
