sir, I am an assistant teacher of chemistry(Hons./P.G.) in a Madhyamik school & I enlisted in NSOU b.ed. ODL in all phases i.e. upto 4th phase. I also get admitted in a college before asking my H.M. about the circular from Jt. Secretary, Bikash Bhawan. he replied as the school is madhyamik all teachers are in normal section & he send my name in DISE-2010 as a upper primary teacher. According to my approval I am an A.T. in science group not in Chemistry but I get the salary of Hons. scale. Is there any problem in future about the candidature of me? I have submitted 10,035/- to the A/C. of NSOU. please tell me any suggestion. prosenjitdey49@ymail.com

I don’t think you have any problem because there are many teachers in junior high school (only upper primary school) who get hons. or hons+PG scale.

It is a misconception among teachers that those who got the salary for hons/pg category are not for normal/upper primary section. They belong to HS section. My dear friend as per rule there must be some hons/pg scale teacher even in normal section depending upon student strength. So don’t worry. You letter of approval clearly mentioned, as per your version, that your appointment is in normal section. so…………
