Namaskar!!
I am a AT at a Govt. aided school and joined the same in Aug 2010 through SSC. However I could complete my B.Ed through IGNOU in the exam scheduled in Dec 2015 and result published in Apr 2016. My increment was stopped in July 2015 and I was expecting a double increment in July 2016. However there is only one increment in July 2016 and the BEd one is still pending. On enquiry I found that the school authority is denying the same now (though I had their approval before appearing) and indicating some circular / GO and that I will never get the BEd benefit.
Can someone please let me know the next steps and the correct direction to move forward in this context?

1) If the last date of exam fall on or before 1/1/16, then you will get an increment and another increment on 1/7/16.
2) If the date is after 1/1/16, then you will get increment any day after the exam. date.
3) If you got it then, you will not allowed to get increment on 01/07/16.

I have already submitted the following documents on 03-May-2016
1. Copy of Exam Timetable and Admit Card
2. Copy of Bed Published Result
3. Copy of Appoint Letter, Approval Letter and Joining Letter
4. Copy of Managing committee resolution giving permission for BEd
However the DI office is holding back the increment. Should I escalate this matter to the next level?
