As per ROPA’09 Vide G.O.No. 30-SE /5B-1/2009 dated. 10.02.2010. After Head Teacher Promotion, the teacher will get one additional Increment @3% of His/her present Basic Pay and also Addl. Grade Pay Rs. 200/- due to higher responsible person. But after getting promotion if she/he wants to relief from her/his additional duty i.e. he/she come back to as an asst. teacher. so far as I know her/his A.G.P Rs. 200/-will deduct only addl. increment will remain unchanged.
Is it correct? I think if yes,She/he may be come back as an A.T. immediately after taking the benefits. Then she/he will be enjoy that addl.increment without any higher responsibility. I am waiting now for expert opinion.

Re: Benifit as Head Teacher of a Primary School.
The benefit of Additional Grade Pay (AGP) for taking higher responsibility is admissible to the existing
    Head Teacher (Primary School),
Headmaster / Headmistress / Assistant Headmaster / Assistant Headmistress, (High School V-X)
Headmaster / Headmistress / Assistant Headmaster / Assistant Headmistress, (Higher Secondary School V-XII)
Headmaster / Assistant Headmaster, (Junior High School V-VIII)
irrespective of their date of appointment. Such existing teachers as per their option on any date on and from 01.01.2006 to 27.02.2009 may be allowed to fix their pay in the revised pay structure along with AGP.
Since, AGP is allowed as per their option for taking higher responsibility; there is no provision in ROPA 2009 to entertain further option in the same matter.
So, I think that would not be possible.
