As per ROPA ’09 vide G.O. No. 181-SE /5B-1/09 dated 08.10.2009. Col.-1 ……. up to pay band- 3 in the Annexure – VI ….. after completion of 18 Yrs. continuous satisfactory service shall be placed in the next higher Grade Pay….may be approval of the concern D.I of schools. Col.-2 in case of 10/20 yrs. benefits ….. shall be entitled to an additional increment to revised Pay @ 3% of pay.
Both cases an employee may opt for the same on the date of entitlement or on the next 1st July the date of accrual of annual increment.
I came to know from different sources :-
Most of the primary teachers are taking their C.A.S benefit at present without any approval of their pay fixation statement by the concern authority in respect of their Option in this regard. That is why, those teachers will face some problems when they submit their pension papers at the time of their retirement if they ignore it.
