You can appear for Pass Vacancies Only.
Because you qualify the essential criteria meant for Pass Vacancies; but do not qualify for Hons/PG vacancies. B.Tech is also a Bachelor’s Degree. And a Bachelor’s Degree from any UGC recognized University having concerned subject as combination of at least 300 marks at the degree level is the Essential Criteria. But in Hons/PG the Essential criteria is Bachelor’s Degree with Honours or Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from any UGC recognized University.
B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science are eligible for both the above. Because a separate Hons / PG subject named as Computer Application is listed in SSC.Actually, Sociology is one of the subjects under Humanities. History, Geography, English, Pol.Sc., etc. – all are included in Humanities in our country.
