Of the two schemes which one is better – Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) of the State Govt. or Assured Career Progression Scheme (ACP) of the Central Govt.!
Don’t ask. A State Govt. Employee will always find the ACP better and a Central Govt. Employee CAS in the first instance.
Joke’s apart. Let’s check the response.CAS is awarded after 8 / 16 / 25 years of service whereas ACP is awarded after 10 / 20 / 30 years of service. In this respect CAS is better than ACP.

@nemo: Yes, in this respect CAS is better. However, CAS seems to be more complicated than ACP!
