The casual leave may be affixed or prefixed to any holiday or Sunday but the total period including the holiday or Sunday shall not be 7 days or more at a stretch.
I think, You can’t take casual leave 7 days contentiously ( At least Primary Teachers, perhaps same others) . vide No. 453-SE (PRY) dated. 04.05.
1999. (a)Casual Leave:- ………………. but it shall not entail an absence of more then 7 consecutive days at a time.
……………. Provided that Sundays and/ or holidays preceding, following or intervening any period of casual leave shall not be counted as part of such leave.
Now see:- 1) if you start from Monday, then total absent before Sunday to Next Sunday (8days – 2 Sundays) = 6 Casual leave.
2) if you start middle of the week i.e. from Wed. day and join on Tue. day then ( 7- 1 Sunday) = 6 casual leave. so that you can take maximum 6 (six) casual leave at a time.Is not it partner ?
