Are you in a High School?
There is no hard n fast rule regarding this in the Leave Rules of High School. But generally CL is granted proportionately for running the administration of a school smoothly. Anyway, it depends upon the Headmaster/Headmistress of the school you are asking about. He/She may not allow you to enjoy more than one CL in January, and you may not claim CL as your right.31.12.2014 at 5:00 pm #80125Anonymous

Thank you. But I saw a clarification G.O. from wbbse that existing rules do not provide such proportional leave?
G.O. 7211/G/0054-242/112, Date 21/07/82. Please clarify.31.12.2014 at 5:51 pm #80126Anonymous

The words “Existing Leave Rules do not provide such proportionate leave” do not mean that one can enjoy as many CL as he/she can during the first month of an academic session. Rather the words indicates to the fact that CL is not granted in accordance with the seniority of ones’ service, as far as I understand. In no circumstances, one can claim CL as his/her right.31.12.2014 at 6:29 pm #80127Anonymous

Off course CL is not one’s right, but what kind of leave it will if someone remain absent 3 days in the month of Jan with prior written application for leave. And I didn’t understand the explanation of ‘proportionate leave’.Thank you.03.01.2015 at 2:19 pm #80130Anonymous
InactiveTHERE IS NO PROPORTIONATE LEAVE MEANS, THAT ONE CAN ENJOY 14 DAYS C.L IN A SINGLE MONTH IF IT CORROBORATE THE LEAVE RULE. I THINK THIS EXPLANATION IS ENOUGH TO MITIGATE YOUR QUERIES.

This is not as easy as you think all about the matter. All depends upon the HM of the concerned school. If HM is not ready to afford such facility, no rules can support an incumbent to enjoy 14 CL in January. Thanks. -
