Maternity leave still exsist? Any GO for Primary teachers? I have a confusion with CCL and Maternity leave. Is maternity leave still exsist or it mearged with CCL?
Maternity Leave and CCl for two kinds of leave taken for two different purpose. Maternity Leave is for Giving Birth to a child and CCL is for rearing or looking after the children, any of their needs like examination, sickness etc.
So no question of merging the two arise here.

I am a permanent lady teacher of a Govt. sponsored school. My daughter was hospitalized just after Puja vacation. So I can’t join my school after Puja vacation and have to take CCL. Is there any issue if CCL is continued just after Puja vacation? Or in other words is there any rule to restrict me of taking CCL just after Puja vacation?
CCL can only be availed only if the MC approves of it. Of course, it can be suffixed or prefixed to any other kind of leave (except CL) or vacation. But the point is did you apply for CCl before taking it? If not, the authorities, in no way, will grant the leaves following the vacation as CCL.

Thanks. As it was an emergency I communicated to Teacher In Charge verbally one day before and sent written application with all documents from Hospital after 2 days. As I had to stay with my daughter in Hospital and my school is very far from my home, there is no way I can go there personally during that time.
But as far as the regulations regarding CCL imply, CCL sanctioning authority will have to first make sure that the academic causes of the school are not going be affected by the said leave. Can it be noted down in a past resolution in a deferred fashion? There are other difficulties, too. Now, it depends solely on the discretion of your employer.
