Acc. to my knowledge there is no problem, if confusion arise you can do other thing: take this 4 days C.L and take 2 M.L on previous any 2 leaves.
November 26, 2012 at 3:56 am #75524AnonymousInactiveSorry. I am not agree with Ram Prosad da. I think its not possible as casual leave cant be combined with any other kind of leave.
Please have a look at para 12 of G.O. No. 1541-Edn (S) /21-2/77, dated 15.12.1977
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
12. Excepting Casual Leave and Compensatory Leave, any kind of leave mentioned below, may be granted in combination with or in continuation of any other kind of leave stated below :
1. Leave on half average pay.
2. Leave on medical grounds.
3. Special leave in exceptional circumstances.
4. Extra ordinary Leave.
5. Maternity Leave.November 26, 2012 at 4:27 am #75400AnonymousInactiveSomnath Da in this case-
“The casual leave may be affixed or prefixed to any holiday or Sunday…” this rule may applicable or not?
and
Whether Sunday and holiday either preceding or succeeding the Medical Leave would be added to the Medical Leave ?
Ans.
Vacation, short holidays or Sundays may be prefixed or affixed to the Medical Leave and the whole period will not be treated as Medical Leave. If, however, Medical Leave falls within vacation, short holidays or Sundays, the whole period will be treated as Medical Leave of the staff concerned of the School.November 26, 2012 at 4:47 am #75591AnonymousInactiveNo no. This is not the matter of affixing or suffixing. This case is of continuous absence of 5 days in which a Sunday falls. Now if the whole period is regularized as casual leave then the sunday may be permitted as holiday otherwise not. In this case 5 days ML, Commuted Leave etc are applicable only as the teacher has not sufficient casual leave in her account.
November 26, 2012 at 4:57 am #75589AnonymousInactiveI agree with som. I am also of the opinion that 2 CLs cannot be availed on Friday & Saturday if 2 Medical Leaves are availed on Monday & Tuesday because of inadequacy of another 2 CLs. In such a situation the entire period of absence from Friday to Tuesday including Sunday be regularised by post facto sanction of 5 MLs by M.C. on submission of Medical Certificate. CL taken for some days cannot be combined with any kind of regular leave availed on the NEXT WORKING DAY if there is no further CL stands out at credit.
Pls see the post under the following thread:
