We all know that an Assistant Teacher is confirmed after successful completion of 2 years satisfactory service in non aided school. If committee confirmed as permanent teacher before completion of 2years’ in non aided school what will be the result? Can committee do this?

Committee can not declare an AT as permanent before completion of 2 years service.

According to the Circular No. 43/56 dated 28 th August,1956 of BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION,WEST BENGAL:-
Ref. : Confirmation of the service of a teacher.( see third para)
In case of unaided High Schools, the probationary period of a teacher shall be six months as laid down in the Revised School Code. A confirmed teacher of unaided school when appointed in an aided school should serve a probationary period of two years in the aided school before he can be confirmed.

Violation of Govt. order is a punishable offence and strict action may be taken against the violating person/persons as and when it come to the notice.
