I want to know the dearness allowance calculation for WB Govt pensioner.Suppose an employee who retd at the age of 60 yrs with a basic pay (Pay Band + GP)= Rs 30000/-, then his basic pension is Rs 15000/- after commutaion @40% it reduced to 15000 – 6000= Rs 9000/- (40% of Rs 15000=Rs 6000). Will DA calculation depend on Rs 15000 or Rs 9000 ? Pl answer my question at an earliest.
N.B.:- In case of central Govt pensioner dearness allowance calculation depends on Rs 15000/ .
