As far as I know EPF= Employees provident fund for private sectors where 12% of basic and D.A. deducted towards the fund. GPF= General provident Fund for Govt employees where minimum subscription is 6% of Basic pay and maximum is equal to the amount of basic pay. Sorry I have on idea about the series number.

State Code – City Code – Establishment Code – Extension of Establishment if any – Account Number

How to get series number for GPF account? any one pls tell me. i m working in higher education department in maharashtra. i visited most sites of higher education department.
