Dear administrator and other respected members, I came to know from an article in SAMBAD PRATIDIN, dated 15.12.12. that a large no. of primary teachers(about 3600) of Purba Medinipur have lost there job after 16 years of services, by an order of Kolkata High court. The teachers have joined in service 1996. Now a days some of the order of High court are horrible for people. We have got service through SSC. But after waching these types of order, I am confused. It may happen that, someone will go to high court and our job may go. What do you think members?

Will you please post the news here? It might help us to get the idea about which point of view the court passed the order against the teachers.December 16, 2012 at 3:08 pm #75996AnonymousInactiveSorry I have no scanner. You may see the news in the ‘Sambad Pratidin’ in the yesterdays edition in page no. 3.
December 16, 2012 at 3:26 pm #75997AnonymousInactiveTo translate the whole news it will take time. I can write in short. The news was, “After 16 years of service 3600 number of teachers have dismissed from there job”. In time of left front govt. these jobless people have joined as primary teacher. In 1993 the govt. of that time had start to appoint the primary teacher. In 1996, 3600 no of lower category jobless people had joined as primary teacher. According to the news some of the unemployed candidate had gone to the high court for proper judgement. According to the prayerer all the selected candidates were C.P.I.(M) cadres and there were no proper selection. Hence they go to th court and get the result in favour of them.

December 16, 2012 at 3:43 pm #76000AnonymousInactiveWho will be the next victim? I am seriosly worried about it. Because after that, primary teachers have been appointed in this district. Again, few days earlier a large no of teachers have been joined in service.
December 16, 2012 at 4:53 pm #76001AnonymousInactiveI like to ask friends to give there opine after having the copy of the judgement from the . I have just checked the order / judgement at the Calcutta High Court website but is still not available there.
News clipping of the news paper does not reflects original views of the court. Now a days it is very rare to get proper news as most of the news papers are seems to be politically motivated.December 17, 2012 at 3:09 pm #76014AnonymousInactiveI know a large number of teachers who joined in 1996 as primary teacher in Purba Medinipur. Actually if we consider their cases the news may be right. I know them for more than 30 years. Thinking their cases I am really worried about the order. Because they have joined at an age of more than 40 years. Some of them has already retired a few month ago. I know a case, where one of the teacher has died and one of her son has joined as an primary teacher in the DH post. I know some cases who has not even passed M.P. and got service. You are thinking that it is impossible. But it is true.

January 5, 2013 at 3:47 pm #76164AnonymousInactiveAfter that there is no news. I think the govt will take no such decision so early. They will wait and see the case.
