I Am a AHM of a Higher Secondary School ,there is no clear clarification or orders. What is the actual duties of a AHM? Next two years I am conducting only class routines & Exams. HM decide the administrative & the new building constructin policy without any consultation of AHM or Secretary of Staff council. The corrupted members of MC are ready to supply the materials. The works of new ACR ( No.5) are not completed with the sanctioned amount, but the next lot of ACR (No. 5) are alloted. Now what can I do?

You know that an AHM of a school is appointed to decrease the work load of the HM. The post of an AHM is sanctioned when the roll strength of a madhyamik school exceed more than 750 in previous 3 years and it will be 1000 in case of a Higher Secondary school.
There is no particular duty or responsibility of an AHM in the teacher’s service rule. So you have no responsibility and liability about the administrative function or construction of ACR. All programmes are executed by the school are distributed to the concerned heads by the planning, first of the academic session. If you are not request to execute/function the same, then there is no need to do so.
Only in the academic council,if there any AHM, he will hold a post named Secretary of the said council. The total numbers of the member does not exceed 3 in case of Madhyamik school and 5 for Higher Secondary school.
    Thank you.
