My wife wants 1 year of EOL as I am posted in USA and she wanted to accompany me. Her school MC agreed to that . But they are saying that they will not provide any NOC unless board approves it. I don’t understand roll of board in this case as her school is Govt Sponsored school. What to do ?? I quick reply in this regards will be very helpful.

The first thing is to know the Power of Managing Committee as per Management of Sponsored Institutions (Secondary), 1972. If we assume that this MC have similar nature of power as that of Non-Govt. Aided Schools, then there is an approval from Board is necessary. But, as I am not informed with the power of MC for the first case, sorry, I can not comment about this.
P.S: If the leave period is limited to less than 11 months, that also may be of less hassle and beneficial, I think.
