A female employee filled up a 10A form to withdraw all the balance payment from her GPF Account immediately after her retirement. Then her office sent the form with forwarding letter to the Pr AG,WB‘s office. Now the required sanction has come from AG office. But,now she is dead. She nominated her husband for her GPF account. The qyestion is that how her husband will recover the amount?Does he require to apply again to AG?or this sanction letter is enough to get the amount?Pleas reply as early as possible on humantarian ground.thnaks.

As the sanction order has been made in favour of the deceased employee, the same cant be considered for final payment to her husband. Her husband should fill up FORM-10B for obtaining payment order in his favour and the same should be forwarded to the AGWB stating the fact requesting for cancellation of the previous payment order and issuing of fresh payment order. A copy of the letter may be forwarded to the local treasury for information. After having fresh payment order, the bill should be prepared.June 30, 2012 at 8:55 am #72995AnonymousInactiveMany many thnx for such early and sincere reply

I got retired from Delhi police, however I only got 50% of my GPF as per my GPF statement, would it be a clerical mistake or there might be a procedure where they only pay 50% of the GPF at the time of retirement and rest will be settled in later months?July 1, 2012 at 3:45 am #73014AnonymousInactiveI got retired from Delhi police, however I only got 50% of my GPF as per my GPF statement, would it be a clerical mistake
Its surely a mistake in case of W.B. Govt. Employee and I think its same for Delhi Govt. You should write a letter to your Pension sanctioning authority to clear the fact.

During retirement you should get up to 90% of GPF amount. I think you have opted for withdrawal of 50% only.
