Sir,I am a former employee of Burdwan district court (Gr-B). I have deducted my G.P.F amount only for 4 months ( October’16-January’17). In the month of January,17 I resigned that job and joined a new job under Hooghly judgeship (Gr-B). In these circumstances shall I continue to deduct G.P.F amount for earlier account or shall I claim my final payment. Please help me.

Is not it service continuation? If your service is continued, then you must apply to your appointing authority to deduct GPF informing your previous GPF account. Then you apply to your previous authority to transfer your amount with accrued interest.

I forgot to mention that in my case ‘service was not continued’.

Then you may apply to your previous authority to pay your contribution along with interest.
