How is the computation of GISS 1983 done? Do we get interest on Sav Fund of GISS 1983, which was accumulated till October 1987, till the date of retirement or death.
Accumulation till Oct, 1987 will be the principal and from 01/11/1987 onwards the interest will be calculated at 6% compounded annually till the date of retirement.
OR
find out the total number months from date of joining to date of retirement and follow ready reckoner for total number of months which shows the total entitlement.
