When we calculate GPF interest. in School, we separate deposits into 2 way i.e deposit before 15th and on after 15th, whether this rule is applicable in this year or not?
    Thanks to all.

    Dear Friend,
Generally we see our G.P.F Contribution has not deposited our account in due time . It may be before 15th date of the month or after. Interest will be counted for the said month if deposit it before 15th date of the said month otherwise interest will be counted from the next month. Our some expert friends will say in details. With regards.

Actually you have to follow the T.V.No. & date of the respective month’s salary. With compliance to Mr. A.B.Pal , that practice has been ceased from 2006

    Friends,
According to newspaper source we have known that Rate of P.F interest @ 8.8 %for the financial year 2012-13. It had Dec ’11 to March’12 @8.6%. If yes, Is it applicable for the Govt. employees or Govt. aided School teachers also? Please upload the G.O. with Thanks.

It was 8.6 % (not 6.8%) for all (including aided schools) from last Dec to Mar. The new G.O. not yet published but expected to be published soon.
