Hi.
I am a newbie in this place with some questions. Let me elaborate it.
I was in a leave from my service from 3rd January 2006 to 27th April 2006. It was treated as without pay leave by the school initially, but later the HM proposed to sanction it as a special leave from the board. The board replied that I need to enjoy the half average pay for the first 60 days, and then the rest two months will be treated as special leave and granted accordingly.
Now, after a decade some problems have arisen and I want to resolve these facts:
1. What will be the calculation for the half average pay leave?
2. Will the Special Leave be incorporated in my Service book? The HM says that it will not, on which I have some doubt.
If needed, I am providing the details of my salary of that time ….
Basic: 6675
DA: 3938 (59%)
HRA: 1001
MA: 100
Thanks for any insight. I will be highly obliged.November 30, 2015 at 4:09 pm #81186AnonymousInactiveHalf pay leave
RULES OF CALCULATION :-
I) 1/2 of Basic Pay=3338/-, D.A.-3338 x @ 59% = 1969/-,H.R.A.-15% of full basic pay=1001/-, M.A.-100/-= 6408/- is half pay of a month.
2) divide the no. of days of a month, the result will be a salary of 1 day.
3) For January of 29 days of HAP is- 6408/31= 206.70 X 29 days= 5995/-
4) go on the same way…….
Thank you.December 1, 2015 at 5:03 pm #81190AnonymousInactiveThanks a lot. It will help me to a great extent.Actually at that period of time , I was pregnant. I was in critical condition during that period.I enjoyed 60 days M.L from October 2005 to December 2005. I had Rheumatic pain and bleeding. Then I joined 2nd January,2006 and took without pay leave to 27th April. The H.M converted that leave into special leave from Board. The Board granted the leave, after charging the aforesaid half average pay leave.
The HM wants to prepare my service book for that period as “no leave taken other than CL”.
Now, my question is, can the HM not enter the period of that special leave in my service book? If it is not entered in the service book, will there be any problem later?February 18, 2016 at 9:53 am #81304AnonymousInactiveMy Basic Pay = 11730/-, Allowances are Medical Allowance @ 30% 3,519/-, Conveyance Allowance @ 15%= 1,760/-, House Rent Allowance @ 75% = 8,798/- please calculate my pay if i apply for 2months Leave on Half Average pay please.
February 18, 2016 at 6:03 pm #81305AnonymousInactive@ MitulC, this leave should be mentioned in the column – ” Nature and duration of leave taken” in your service book. It is also ought to be mentioned in (G) LEAVE ACCOUNT (Page no.-24-25)
August 3, 2017 at 3:05 pm #82508AnonymousInactiveSir, how the Interim Relief will effect the calculation of HAP at present? and in the above calculation, what will be the breakup ( Basic, DA, HRA,MA) of that calculated HAP (5995/-)?
August 3, 2017 at 6:44 pm #82509AnonymousInactiveCalculation of IR for August, 2017 for HAPL:
(Total IR as on July/31) x Working Days in August.
For Example, If one’s IR as on July, 2016 (IR did not increse in July, 2017) was 968, his IR for 15 working days in August will be (968/31) x 15 = 468February 6, 2018 at 3:12 pm #82711AnonymousInactiveIn osms , there is no option for proper HALF AVERAGE PAY Calculation .What is the option ?
