Half Pay Leave and Medical Leave

Hi everyone,
I need a clarification on Half-average pay leave and medical leave.
My wedding date has been fixed on 1st July, 2014, therefore I need to take leave from 1st July to 5th July and then 8th July to 12th July. Now the question arises of I take half- average pay leave from 1st July to 5th July and join on 7th July, then the intervening Sunday i.e. 6th July will be treated as a normal day or not?
now the second question, if I take medical leave on certificate from 8th to 12th July and join on 14th july, then the intervening Sunday, 13th of July will be excluded from the leave or included?

You may take CL from 1st July to 5th July, total 5 days.
Next you may take CL from 8th July to 12 July, total 5 days. Because you will join on 7th July. So there if no problem to take 10 days of CL and it will be advance CL. You will not get total 14 days of CL in a calender year.
If you want to take HPL then you can do so. In the first case, from 1st July to 5th July, total 5 days and in second case from 8th July to 12 July,total 5 days.
6th July Sunday will be prefix and 13th July will be suffix.

How much half pay leave I am entitled to get at a time.Say for example I have exhausted my cl and ml and am bound to take nine days leave further.In that case how many half pay leave would need to be converted into full pay leave

you may avail commuted leave for nine days and for that 18 half pay leave need to be commuted.
