I have applied for Half-yearly Departmental Examination of officers of the Govt. of West Bengal (Including All India Service officers), May, 2013. But this time, I am not willing to appear in the exam. Whether it will create any problem if I don’t appear in the said exam after issuing of Admit Card? Some of my friends are telling that it will create problems in appearing the Departmental Exam next time. Is it true? Please advice me. drarunkrhui@gmail.com
It will not create any problem. You may appear next time. But keep in mind that for getting departmental promotion / financial benefit you must have to pass departmental and professional exam, if any.
