Some of our friends appeared in the Part-II of B.Ed. examination through IGNOU which ended on 02/01/2015 instead of 27/12/2014. As far as I know on passing the said examination they are eligible to get their increment reinstated from 03/01/2015 provided they accept that they would no longer claim their annual increment on 01/07/2015 (as per ROPA 2009). But some of their HMs are denying to entertain their words regarding increment. HMs are claiming that their increment would resume only on 01/07/2015. Are they correct in what they are saying? Please clarify.
You are right Sourish, the said incumbents are entitled to receive increments form 03/01/2015 (which was due on 01/07/2014) and their next increment will be on 01/07/2016. But they can claim such increments only after their result of B.ED. gets published and they submit it. For claiming such increments as arrear after publication of result, Due-Drawn statements will have to be prepared.
