Please suggest how can I accord permission to appointing authority for purchasing a flat or any formalities/ forms regarding the matter ?
You have to apply to your appointing authority seeking permission to acquire any immovable property with its detail, cost and the source of money for acquirement of the property. There is no specific form but some departments supply a form to their employees asking some specific information about the property and the source of income through which fund will be used to purchase it. They also ask as to in whose name the property will be purchased I mean in your name from your own fund or in the name of wife or other relatives from your fund or joint fund.
