    This is the G.O
    But it is not mentioned that whether the MLs will lapses or carry forward but in the case of para teacher it was mentioned that it will lapse after every yrs.

    As per G.O. No. 135-SE(Pry) dtd 26.02.2009 the contractual staffs engaged in SSM programme are entitled to 14 days CL and 30 days EL (non-cumulative) in a calendar year subject to the approval of the competent authority. EL at credit will lapse once the contract period is expired.

    N.B: One day weekly leave for contractual labours/casual workers/ daily rated workers is now mandated by Labour Department recently.

    The leave rule should be mentioned in the appointment letter in such case of appointment. Please check the appointment letter. Because there is no such hard and fast rule in these cases, often end up with negotiations.
