Leave Salary calculation for post-2016 retirees

If a Govt. employee has retired between the time period from 01.01.2016 to 31.12.2019, before the implementation of WBS(ROPA) Rules, 2019 in that case should he/she be eligible for receiving leave salary on revised scale? I have seen orders relating to revision of Pension, CVP and Gratuity but no order relating to revision of leave salary for such cases.

Please advise whether such retirees will get leave salary on old scale or revised scale and should their service book needs to be sent to Pr AG, WB again.

The retiree is entitled to get leave salary in the revised pay structure as per sub-rule (2) of rule (7) of WBS(ROPA) Rules, 2019.
