Yet, I would like to put that there does not exist any specific rule regarding the distance of place of appointment for female teachers in primary schools. It happens as per merit list and the vacancies available at moment of counselling of a particular candidate. But of course, there are provisions for transfer in primary schools. I thought so. But you know, these days in case of posting, two types of distances often become the matter of discussion- one, distance by road and two, radial distance. That’s why I was not sure.
