This Holidays list is totally unscientific. Rural area, Hill area, town area’s have different problems. So the list of Holidays should be area dependent. My suggestion is that the increase of total number of holidays by 20 days can solve this problems.
Total number of holidays should be 85 days. Otherwise teaching quality of a teacher will decrease year by year due to tremendous pressure. At the same time student will not get sufficient time for creative thinkings. So, the old holidays list (85 days) was most appropriate and scientific than this new published holidays list given by W.B. Govt.
The list is quite well but there is need of 3 holidays under h.m. and for this list the local festivals would totally ignored. govt. should think about this point.
