I checked UGC site and periyar university is UGC granted. But if anyone complete his m.a degree from study center of periyar university, kolkata then is the degree valid to ssc or any other job ?
You should remember one thing that it is the affiliation and grant of UGC and NCTE (B.Ed.) that matters in case of applying for the post of asstt. teacher through SSC. As you have mentioned that the Kolkata study centre is affiliated to the concerned university which itself has got the UGC grant, you need not worry any further. Hope, the marksheet and the certificate has got only the name of the university.
