Hello forum
I am an Assistant teacher of gov. Spond. School and presently I am pursuing my B.Ed on deputation. I will join my duty to school in the month of July, 2018. I have to travel to my husband for family planning issue who is presently in USA. Can I apply for medical leave for few months for traveling to USA?

You will not get ML for this purpose. You may apply for EOL.

I further want to know if I will apply for EOL regarding the aforesaid matter what type of leave may I get? Is it without paid leave or paid leave? Is it possible to apply for EOL if I have ML in my leave credit?
If the authority will not sanction the EOL then what procedure I need to follow?

It will be without leave.It can be availed even when you have medical leave, but the leave must not be on medical ground.

Is it without paid leave or paid leave?

EOL means “Extra Ordinary Leave” which may sanctioned up to 2 years by the approval of M.C.,WITH OUT PAY. In special circumstances it is for 5 years.
