Mobile no.registration should not be statutory to get salary

To implement IFMS state govt. implements to give mobile no. in e-prodan portal every employee as well as every beneficiary on statutory basis. the system is good but now the question arises that is any govt. can implement this type of order on statutory basis? The answer is a BIG “NO”. because every employee is using their mobile on his personal cost & the mobile no. is also very personal to everybody.

I think mobile number should not be mandatory. But, we also should think of the fact that Govt. ask for mobile number of the employee for the benefit of employee only. Employee is informed through mobile number when his/her salary is deposited; this is one kind of service bank provide us, and this service is only possible when we submit our mobile number.

Providing ones’ Mobile No. in the newly developed IFMS is really a positive step towards stronger security, I think. So nothing to grudge against this. Thanks.
