Most urgent 26 th sept holiday?

Friends, according to the Anandabazar patrika of 25th sept, today(26/09/2012) has been declared a holiday for secondary school. It also reported that no declaration has made for the pry school. Now there is a news in the air that pry school also have been declared to remain closed today(no official news was made). Is the news correct? please provide the concerned notification as soon as possible. Where has the notification been published?

Depends on the school. It is not a Holiday in those schools which have already compensated the holiday on Vidyasagar’s Birthday with any other holiday in its Holiday list to maintain a total of 65 holidays in a year. Schools which has not yet adjusted this day against any other holiday may declare 26th Sept as a holiday. News published in newspapers is little confusing.

Thanks polo for the response.
Pry school holiday list prepared at DPSC not at school. However the matter is confusing for the secondary school too. Can any one post the relevant instruction of the govt. (upon which the news is based)?

Here is the ammendment (N/S/130 dated 24.09.2012 of WBBSE) in holiday list in which 26th September is declared as holiday for Vidyasagar’s birthday.
