Something similar has happened in case of the teachers of our institution as well. The local DI office (Jalpaiguri) asked us to submit names of all untrained teachers several times and we complied. Imagine our shock when we found that only one teacher’s name features in the list of eligible candidates from our school in the NSOU website. But the even bigger shock is that the said teacher was supposed to have retired on 31st December, 2012. However, he passed away after a prolonged illness in September, 2012. We called up officials from the DI office several times but it seems they do not have a clue about what is going on.
So rest assured, yours is not the only school where this has happened. It has happened to a large number of other schools as well.
