Can anyone explain the new HS syllabus of English-How are ENGLISH-A, ENGLISH-B, AND ALTERNATIVE ENGLISH different. What is meant by things like “(16M/10P)” in the syllabus?

Can anyone explain the new HS syllabus of English-How are ENGLISH-A, ENGLISH-B, AND ALTERNATIVE ENGLISH different. What is meant by things like “(16M/10P)” in the syllabus?

As far as I think 16M stands for sixteen marks allotted for a section of the syllabus and 10P means Ten periods will be used to teach that particular section of the syllabus.
