One increment is granted on 01.01.2006 in the pre-revised scale at the time of fixation of pay in revised pay structure for those Central Govt. employees whose date of annual increment falls between February and June, 2006.Friends employed under the State Govt. and aided schools may also address the issue to remove such anomaly of ROPA. It would be convenient for them to justify the claim as it has been already resolved at the Centre for the benefit of its employees.
