Dear SirThis has reference to the long pending issue regarding the revised pension scheme that had been declared by West Bengal government almost two years back.
In preface, I was a primary teacher (Burdwan, West Bengal, SADAR urban:-1) retired on 2006 and entitled for the revised pension scheme announced in 2009.
After a continuous and horrible follow up in last two years, I had got a call from your SI office Burdwan on 28/04/11 that the original service book is either missed or not sent by AG Bengal office /treasury office and the duplicate copy to be submitted to get this revised scale (that is also not sure). I immediately rushed to SI office and submitted the Xerox copy of my duplicate service book. You will appreciate that the duplicate copy of service book which is the only authentic record I have for my service period is not at all possible to hand over. But it was told that the Xerox copy will not be acceptable by their head office (refer discussion with Mrs. Prathibha Sar , SI and Mr. Ratan from pension cell).
Last almost two years, I am waiting for this revised scale and after two years the only development I have, i.e my service book get lost. I fear that if I submit the duplicate copy of my service book, my present old scale pension will also be stopped with such unknown reasons and will compelled me to enjoy an intolerable pain till death! You will also appreciate that the abnormal price hike in last two years had made the life tough with few amount of pensions.

I am an aged person and it is not possible to beg everyday in the SI and DI office for revised pension.
Now I don’t have option than to beg your immediate intervention such that necessary action can be taken and I can get my revised pension without further delay.

Sri Subal Chandra Barman’s (retired Pry. teacher, in March 2010) PPO No. PRI/S/COB/00399/2011 vide Memo No P/06983/2011 Date: 30 Jun-2011 was sent to Treasury Officer, Tufanganj, without the signature of competent authority. Then The T.O. Tufanganj sent it back to The Director of Pension, P.F. Purta Bhaban vide Memo No. T/323/1(1) dated 18.11.2011. But no reply came . Then on 20 Jan- 2012 a representative of Sri Barman went to Purta Bhaban from Cooch Behar in order to request the authority to send it soon. An official assured him that the order had been despatched and a letter would reach the pensioner in 2 or 3 days. But it has not come. The pensioner is almost starving.

I retired from service on 30-09-2011. i was an clerk of secondary education . my district name is MALDA . my date of birth is 14-09-1951. already i have sent my pension file to the concerned authority
. my memo no. is 1011/(1)3 . the date is 09-03-2012. yet my pension is not commenced.
i was a clerk . of a senior madrasah . please inform me about the status of my file .
i will be highly obliged.
