Options for failed H.S candidate?

What are the options for a student who failed in 2 or 3subjects in H.S 2017 to complete in next session?

If he/she failed up to a maximum of 2 subjects, in the next H.S Exam he/she will be allowed to appear in those subjects only in which he/she failed.
But if he/she failed in more than 2 subjects, he/she will have to appear in all the subjects in the next H.S. Exam.
