Please guide me to solve the following problem relating to my office –
    1. I have submitted 2 bills for electricity charges of one of my offices and got 2 cheques from treasury.
    2. Later it was revealed that the 2nd electric bill included the outstanding 1st bill amount and the electricity dept. is not taking the cheque, drawn for the first bill.
What I should do now with the first cheque. Please guide me.
    R Banerjee.

Re: over drwan treasury cheque for electric bil, how to refu
Cool down friend. The unused cheque is refundable to the Treasury. You have to make an Office Order for cancellation of that bill and returning of that cheque. But before that you should consult with the concerned Treasury officer at once. I am saying from my personal experience. Best of luck.
