An L.D.C. promoted to U.D.C. with retrospective effect from 01.04.2015.
He moved to the Scale of 7100-37600/- with Gr. Pay Rs. 3600/-
His present Basic Pay is Rs. 10,270/- (7670 + 2600).
What will be his Basic Pay on 01.07.2015 ?

I suppose this basic pay is as on 31.03.2015. Am I right?
Yes. You are right.
As on 31.03.2015: BP+GP = 7670 + 2600
As on 01.04.2015: BP+GP = 7900 + 3600
Next increment date: 01.07.2015
On 01.07.2015 (BP+GP) will be: 8140 + 3600 = 11740.Thanks for your reply .
But, if I am not wrong, there is an error in this fixation.
The promotional & normal increments are calculated on Band Pay only.
As per my knowledge, the increment should be calculated on the Basic Bay i.e. ‘Band Pay + Grade Pay’.
I am slightly elaborating the fixation process:
Pay as on 31.03.2015 = 10270 (7670+2600)
Add one promotional increment= 310
Pay= 10580
Less existing G.Pay(-) = 2600
Pay= 7980
Add next higher G. Pay= 3600
Pay as on 01.04.2015= 11580 (7980+3600)
Next increment date: 01.07.2015
So, Pay as on 01.07.2015 = 11960 (8360+3600) [increment amount 380 /-]
However,my confusion regarding whether normal increment of 2015 (01.07.2015) is admissible or not, has been cleared.
Please suggest necessary correction if any error is found in my fixation.Sorry. I was out of my mind. Increment calculation is wrong in my case. It should be on Basic+Grade Pay.
