I am attaching herewith the pay fixation details in excel file of a senior official and junior official of the same post. Please have a look at the fixation and help me find out why there is such a disparity in their pay(senior getting less pay than his junior) What steps are to be taken. Kindly Reply.

The anomaly has been cropped up owing to pay revision..the senior employee is required to submit a prayer stating the fact, i.e the junior employee has been drawing more pay than the senior since 01/01/2006 etc..remaining part of this lies with the concerned Establishment Section….this Section is required to prepare a statement of comparative pay structure with date of option, which is missing in your EXEL file…

After preparing the comparative pay structure what other proper procedures are to be followed by the office? Please guide
now my BP is 16200(gp-4100,pay band-7100 to 37600),if i qualify in 1st SLST in XI and XII level,what will be my starting BP?
The affected employee (the senior employee) is required to submit a prayer to the concerned HoD/DDO preferably enclosing the photocopies of the relevant pages of the Gradation List or equivalent list …Office/Admin/Establishment Section, after receiving the prayer, shall prepare a comparative pay structure as per extant guidelines/norms with a conclusive opinion backed by cogent reason for anomaly ….the same should be placed before the concerned wing of the Finance Dept for verification/concurrence….after due concurrence/vetting from the end of the concerned wing of the Finance Dept, the pay of the senior employee is required to be modified….i.e to be stepped up to an extent to make it at par with the pay of the junior employee…in the instant case the pay is to be modified w.e.f 01/01/2006…..but, this modification may be notionally, so the affected employee may not be entitled to draw arrears due to modification except the salary and admissible allowances on the basis of the modified pay w.e.f the date of approval by the competent authority in this regard or as decided by the authority, as the case may be…It is therefore be requested to submit the prayer as soon as possible…for any clarification be feel free to write….thanks for your kind attention….
